I just wanted to drop you a note telling you both how much my wife and I enjoyed our 30th anniversary dinner at your restaurant last night.

Being in business myself, I know that too often we only hear the complaints or what isn't right about the services we work hard to provide to the general public. We never seem to hear the good side of what we are doing.
That's why I wanted to tell you both our meals were excellent and the service was outstanding. And, out of the countless restaurant we have eaten at in the last year, everyplace from Des Moines to Chicago to Colorado or Hawaii, yours it truly topnotch.

Your suggestion of chateaubriand was superb.   Your wine selection was perfect.   The roses were stupendous.   My wife had absolutely no idea what was going on until the roses and champagne were brought to the table without my saying anything.   Only then did she realize that the whole evening was orchestrated.  Our server was great and very sensitive to it being a special evening for us.   So the evening was all we could have wanted, and besides that it was fun.   We look forward to seeing you again soon."
